This piece was written by looking at a strip of paint (the colors are listed below). The concept for this piece is that it takes place in a world similar to ours, but with hybrid characters living in places where wild animals can be found. In this case, the hybrids are found in the Amazon. One of these hybrids is Tigerlily, known as the Guardian of the Amazon, who protects the rainforest from outsiders that wish to destroy it. However, this piece is written about a human girl named Saboo who has the power to contact Nature Spirits and acts as Tigerlily's partner when fending of hostile outsiders. The original version of this piece was rushed and had very little detail. In this version, I included more details about Saboo's Powers and about some of my hybrids that occupy the Amazon.

Title: Spirit Contact

Finesse eyes were uncommon, but Saboo’s once black eyes became that color when she found herself stuck in the Amazon. In addition, her eyes would glow whenever a Nature Spirit contacted Saboo. She has had the ability to contact Nature Spirits for years, but when Saboo first discovered this ability, she thought she was going insane. After all, she would constantly claim to hear voices and when she asked the hybrids that inhabited the Amazon, they could not hear anything.
Over time, Saboo learned that she was in fact sane and that the voices she heard were Nature Spirits that were trying to contact her. The Spirits often provided Saboo with valuable information about the Amazon and its inhabitants, mostly the hybrids, so she embraced her gift. Because of the Nature Spirits, Saboo constantly heard things about the hybrids that humans would never know. She learned how territorial predatory hybrids, like the ones who were half tiger or panther, could be. But she also learned that all of the hybrids had the deepest respect for nature and were devoted to protecting their territories from outsiders who wished to exploit them.

Now, Saboo sat in front of a blueberry patch and pulled off a couple of berries. She cautiously tasted one, despite knowing that blueberries were not toxic. But in the Amazon, one could never be too careful. But then Saboo heard the whisper of a Nature Spirit with a message from Tigerlily, who was Saboo’s partner in combat and who was requesting her presence. The tiger-hybrid rarely contacted Saboo during peacetime, but when she did, it was usually important. So Saboo discarded the blueberries and sprinted to Tigerlily’s location, spear in hand.
She found Tigerlily at an area the hybrids called Babbling Brook, though the humans had a different name for it. But Tigerlily was not alone. The tiger-hybrid sat on a large boulder and next to her was another hybrid who was dressed in a rather daring indigo outfit. But what stood out the most about this new hybrid was that she was half bat. Saboo had never seen her before, but she knew that bat-hybrids were nocturnal by nature. So if one was out during the day, it was usually a sign that something was wrong. Especially since said bat-hybrid was with the Guardian of the Amazon.
